The installation draws a parallel between the repetitive, mechanical and vibrating sounds produced by industrial machinery on building sites and the sonic qualities of industrial and techno music; a genre of music that emerged during the decline of the automotive industry in Detroit (USA) and which, through cascading, overlapping repetitive loops that induce a trance-like state and mental abstraction, represents a need to escape from a decaying industrialised society deeply marked by depopulation and racialisation.

The piece presents a body-machine that combines materials typical of prefabricated architecture with stimulant drinks; a modular and demanding organism that operates 24/7, highlighting the unsustainability of hyper-productivity.
